Occupy D.C. continued

The protesters were given a deadline to remove their camping gear by Monday at noon set by the National Park Service. The protesters however did not move and are still maintaining their camps today. Park officials told protesters they could stay as long as one side of the tents were open.

Occupy D.C.

The National Park Service has plans to crack down on the camp sites where protesters are useing sleep as a form of protest. Protesters have been notified that can be arrested for "camping violations". However, the participants say they will defend their camps.

Solar Flare

A solar flare from Sunday's solar eruption released radiation hitting earth Monday. Which caused a radaition storm  but will not harm humans. However the Aurora Borealis may be able to be seen in areas as low as Michigan and Maine Tuesday night due to the eruption.

Cruise ship wreck continued.

Rescue divers found another body on the Costa Concordia Today. That totals a body count of 16 with another 16 still missing. The rescue team will continue to search the ship along with the salvage to remove the fuel still onboard.

Two more found.

Two more bodies were found on the wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship last weekend.One on Saturday and the other on Sunday. Both were women and were wearing life jackets.
